Choudhury receives 2019 Churchill Fellowship

Farzana Choudhury has received a Churchill Fellowship for her project, 'Empowering people facing poverty through social and housing status rights-based models'. She will review overseas poverty discrimination law frameworks to inform practice in Australia.

Farzana Choudhury has received the 2019 ACT Young Lawyer of the Year Award at the ACT Law Society Awards. She is a Senior Solicitor with Canberra Community Law's Street law program, which assists people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
