Australian Senate

Rachel holds a senior position within Australia’s Parliament, requiring her to assist the President in maintaining order in the Senate chamber and play a central role at the openings of parliament. She also works as a clerk-at-the-table in the Senate and is responsible for providing support services to the Senate chamber as well as delivering corporate services to the Department of the Senate.

  • Previously Usher of the Black Rod with the New South Wales Legislative Council.
  • Extensive experience as a Parliamentary Officer, including as Committee Secretary.
