Described by the Leverhulme Trust as one of the leading international lawyers of her generation, Anthea’s practise and research experience covers fields including public international law, investment treaty law, arbitration, comparative international law, China and international law. She has previously held roles at the London School of Economics, Columbia Law School and Harvard Law School.

  • Twice awarded the American Society of International Law’s Francis Deak Prize.
  • 2012 Leverhulme Prize for her scholarship in international law.
  • Editor for the American Journal of International Law and the European Journal of International Law.
  • Former Jacob L Martin Fellow, University Medallist in Law, Fulbright Scholar, Hauser Scholar and Jerome Lipper Awardee.
