Many of our alumni want to know how they can remain connected to the ANU College of Law and give back in some way to the next generation of students, or contribute to important research the College is undertaking. Below are some of the ways you can stay connected.
If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact Fiona Preston who will be happy to discuss your ideas and possible opportunities.
Offering internships to students across the breadth of work experiences that their ANU Law degree could take them, including overseas opportunities.
Offering legal practice placements to our students who are increasingly finding it a challenge to meet the requirements for Admission to Practice.
Volunteering to mentor students (this can be at a distance) or coach a mooting team.
Share your career experience by volunteering as a speaker, panellist, mock-interviewer, guest-lecturer, seminar host or reviewer of clerkship applications.
Support a law scholarship or research initiative.
Support current law students through sponsoring an annual academic prize.
Continue your lifelong learning by studying one of our postgraduate programs, including the Master of Laws, Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) or Doctor of Philosophy in Law (PhD). You can also undertake single subjects (without having to complete assessment tasks), or talk to us about tailoring professional development programs to suit your particular workplace.
