Student Information
The ANU Faculty of Law offers a Law degree program, and in
conjunction with other Faculties,
combined
degree programs with law, designed to prepare graduates
for a wide range of career opportunities, including
legal
practice. The Bachelor of Laws degree program at the Australian
National University comprises a core of compulsory courses
together with a number of electives enabling specialisation
in particular branches of the law.
The
postgraduate coursework programs
in Law provides exciting opportunities for study in key legal
areas.
Specialist
programs are available in government and commercial law,
environmental law, intellectual property law and international
law.
The ANU is part of the

of eight leading universities in Australia, and we are
well-known for our research expertise both nationally and
internationally. Students can undertake
graduate
study by thesis under the supervision of leading scholars
in the Faculty of Law and in the Law Program in the Research
School of Social Sciences (
RSSS).
