| Biography |
Gary has been Director of the ANU Legal Workshop since 1995. He graduated from Sydney University in 1977. He has worked as a solicitor in NSW and ACT in litigation, property, succession and commercial work. His involvement in practical legal education spans 20 years and has ranged from Mallesons in Canberra, to the Legal Workshop, to Freehills in Sydney (as Director of Professional Development), to the University of NSW and back to the Workshop. He has written or contributed to several books and a number of journal articles, particularly on legal practice skills. He is co-author, with Charles Rowland, of the fourth and fifth editions of Hutley’s Australian Wills Precedents. |
