Aparna Rao is currently an Associate Lecturer in the ANU College of Law and has taught in the undergraduate courses of Evidence, Equity, Torts, Property, and Foundations of Australian Law. She is also working on a National Judicial College of Australia research project on Multiple Opinions in Appellate Courts.
Aparna graduated from the Australian National University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours and the University Medal, and the Tillyard Prize. In 2008 she worked as Associate to Justice Dyson Heydon of the High Court of Australia. She is a recipient of the 2009 Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Scholarship in Law and in September 2009 will read for a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Master of Philosophy at the University of Oxford’s Magdalen College.
