Biography

Helen is an Associate Lecturer in the College and currently teaches in the undergraduate program, having taught in Foundations of Australian Law, Lawyers, Justice & Ethics and in Commonwealth Constitutional Law. Helen joined the College full-time in 2008, and also works as the Research Associate on 'Judicially Speaking: An Oral History of the High Court of Australia', a collaborative research project between the ANU College of Law, the High Court of Australia and the National Library of Australia.

Scholarly Interests

Constitutional law, judicial systems, judicial biography, comparative legal history and oral history. Have previously spent time working in the field of domestice violence and personal protection law, Helen also has an interest in domestic violence law reform and in access to justice.
