Biography Emeritus Professor Leslie Zines AO is visiting fellow in the Fleming Centre for the Advancement of Legal Research. He joined the Faculty in 1962 as senior lecturer, promoted reader in 1965, appointed professor 1967  and Robert Garran Professor 1977 to 1992. He was dean 1973–1975 and 1984–1986. He retired from the Faculty in 1992 and was appointed Goodhart Professor of Legal Science  at Cambridge University 1992–1993. Member of the Royal Commission on the Tasmanian Constitution 1981–1982 and the Constitutional Commission 1985–1988. He has been an honorary fellow of Wolfson College, Cambridge since 1995.
