Research Towards Higher Degrees by Thesis
A very wide range of supervision on Australian Indigenous topics is available at ANU. Prospective students should first consult the ANU website, Information for Prospective Graduate Coursework, then the Higher Degrees adviser in the College in which their research interests are most likely to fall.

 

A PhD at NCIS?
NCIS especially welcomes enquiries about studying for a higher degree by thesis based at our Centre. 
At present Ms Sophia Close is examining: Indigenous self-determination in Torres Strait and the Pacific region - future policy options for hybrid self-governance and investigating the relationships between Indigenous internationalism and Fourth World activism to State-based aid and development mechanisms in building Indigenous self-determination.
