indigenous community governance research project

This collaboration between Reconciliation Australia and researchers within the ANU Centre for Aboriginal Economic Policy Research and the ANU National Centre for Indigenous Studies undertakes research on Indigenous community governance, with the consultation of Indigenous communities and regional Indigenous organisations.

canning stock route Western Desert Lands Aboriginal Corporation & Kimberley Land Council Project

In partnership with the Western Desert Lands Aboriginal Corporation and the Kimberley Land Council, identifying Indigenous uses of the 1700km track including rock art and contemporary sites of significance to protect restricted sites and cultural artefacts through regional management strategies.
