Service Charter
Purpose
The Finance and HR Unit, ANU College of Law aims to provide support and education
to the staff members of the ANU College of Law in areas of Finance and HR matters.
This service charter details our goals as a service unit and outlines the quality
assistance that we aim to provide.
Service
We strive to provide efficient and accurate information to staff and
students within the ANU College of Law. Where we are unsure of the specifics
of a query we will research and liaise with central bodies to get this information
to you.
Responsibility
As a service unit,
our role is to support the staff of the ANU College of Law. We are responsible
for the accuracy of the information and advice that we provide to staff. Staff
of the College are responsible for familarising themselves with the procedures
and turn-around times by which this unit functions. The Finance and HR Unit
is responsible for providing this information to the staff of the ANU College
of Law.
Staff within the College are responsible for adhering the the policies, procedures
and regulations documented by the Finance and HR Unit.
Accessibility
We, as a service unit,
aim to make ourselves accessible to the staff we support. We provide consultation
hours every day during which staff are free to visit us, without appointment,
with any queries or requests for assistance. We provide a generic address FinanceHRUnit@law.anu.edu.au
through which all enquiries can be forwarded, and we encourage staff to communicate
with us this way.
Expectations
Finance and HR Unit staff understand that matters relating to pay and
other monies can be stressful, however we expect to be treated with courtesy
and consideration at all times. In return you can expect friendly and helpful
advice from our team in all circumstances.
