28-31 July 2010
Conversations are the lifeblood of our world. The
concept of conversation covers all the ways that we listen, speak
and communicate meaning to each other. Any improvement in the quality
of the conversations that matter will benefit all of us.
We hold these conversations, formal and informal, to create a better future
together.
Today, each of us will be involved in at least one such conversation as
part of a high-stakes meeting.
Our offering
The leadership task of harvesting and hosting converstations that matter
is a skill all of us can and need to learn. We are offering a three-day
residential workshop from July 28 to July 31 to explore hosting and harvesting
conversations that matter through teachings, discussion and practical
experience. Our program addresses the learning needs of people from all
walks of life who need to enhance their leadership skills in hosting conversations.
The
ANU Centre for Dialogue invites you to join this exciting event and gain
important insights into the key leadership activity of working with groups
in conversations that matter.
