Conference details
The Australian Political Studies Association Conference provides the opportunity for researchers, policy makers, and the community to address issues relating to politics and international relations.

The Organising Committee would like to offer you the opportunity to become involved in the conference through sponsorship of part of the business program or social activities.

Who will attend?
APSA conferences attract around 300 delegates and will be attended by a cross-section of political science and international relations researchers, policy makers, policy analysts and postgraduate students from both Australia and around the world.

Venue
APSA 2011 is being hosted by The Australian National University and will be held at Old Parliament House in Canberra.

Theme
The theme of the conference for 2011 is Crisis, Uncertainty and Democracy. Plenary sessions are planned addressing issues of minority government. The conference will be opened by the Chancellor of the ANU, the Hon Gareth Evans.

Satchel Inserts
Each delegate at the conference will receive a satchel containing conference materials.
Inclusion of a company brochure in satchels will ensure direct access to all delegates.

Please note:
A limited amount of satchel inserts will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
An insert will consist of no more than 5 A4 pages stapled together
Other promotional items such as caps, key rings, mouse pads, gifts etc will constitute one insert—only one of each promotional item will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
Production and delivery of inserts is the responsibility of the applying company and must be received by 5 September 2011.

Advertisements

Advertising options will be available in the conference program guide. Please note final artwork to be supplied as per specifications (below). Bookings for the advertisements in the conference program guide must be received with full payment by Friday 5 August 2011. The publication will be in A4 format. Advertisements are available for full page, half page or quarter page.

One trestle table
Two standard chairs
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for one representative on each applicable day
Attendance by one representative at the Welcome Reception
Name badge and conference satchel for one representative

Cost: $600 including GST

How to Apply
We look forward to working with you to maximise your business opportunities at the conference. To make your booking, please forward the Application Form and a 50% deposit as soon as possible to the Conference Managers.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation, the organizers reserve the right to retain the deposit and any further payments received. Cancellations must be advised in writing.
