Welcome

Dear CIPL Friends

Welcome to the 4th CIPL E Bulletin for 2011!

It is hard to believe today is the last day of October and we are into the last few months of 2011!

CIPL has had a very busy time since the last E Bulletin in August, including our successful Annual Public law weekend in September, and the excellent presentation by The Right Hon Madam Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin, PC, Canadian Chief Justice, of the Annual Sawer lecture. Links to some of the PLW presentations are set out below and a video of the Sawer lecture is also available. I do hope you can benefit from them if you weren’t able to attend in person.

Our Friday CIPL lunchtime seminar series for the year is now complete and I thank all presenters for their great contributions. Most of the presentations are now available for access on our website as audio files.

Our additional public seminars continue with one each in November and December as set out below, and I hope to see you at them.

In the meantime we are preparing our annual newsletter to send out electronically before the close of the year. Below you will see a snippet of some of the great work our colleagues are doing, that will be included in full in our newsletter.

Best wishes,

Kim Rubenstein
