• CIPL and the Australian Labour Law Association presented a series of
"fringe
seminars" to accompany the High Court hearing of the constitutional
challenge to the Work Choices legislation. Over the course of three days, more
than 100 people attended. Speakers included Dr Rosemary Owens (audio),

and a panel of speakers including Steve Ramsey (CPSU), Dr Beth Gaze (University
