Sat 9 September 2000, Canberra - presented paper "Legal Implications for Regulation of Trade in Services of China's Accession to the WTO" to a conference "China: Growth Sustainability in the 21st Century" convened by the China Economy and Business Program of ANU and the Association for Chinese Economic Studies (Australia) Inc at ANU, Canberra on 8-19 September 2000.

19 October 2000, Beijing - presented the paper "China's Approach to Applying the GATT to Agriculture" to a seminar on "Related Legal Issues on China's Accession to the WTO" held by the PRC Ministry of Trade and Economic Cooperation.

20 October 2000, Beijing - gave an informal presentation and question and answer session on the WTO rules on agricultural trade jointly with Mr Peter May to a group of government officials at the Ministry of Agriculture.

28 November 2000 - gave a short lecture on "GATT rules on Agriculture and Forthcoming Agriculture Negotiations" to a delegation visiting the ANU Chinese Economy Program in the Asia Pacific School of Economics and Management from the People's Republic of China Ministry of Agriculture.

8 December 2000, Beijing - presented 3 hours of teaching on "Non-violation Cases in WTO Dispute Settlement" at a seminar at the China University of Politics and Law organized by the PRC Ministry of Justice and the China University of Politics and Law.
