The Dangers of Low-Documentation Loans
presented by CCL and Care Inc."The joint report of the Centre for

in the ACT Supreme Court" was successfully launched on Tuesday, 18 December
2007. Annette Ellis MP, Member for Canberra, accepted the Report on behalf of
the Federal Government"

The Centre for Commercial Law and CARE Inc presented a very successful public
forum on the dangers of low-documentation loans. The event was attended by more
than 30 people from private practice, government departments and industry. The
forum explored some of the issues associated with low-documentation loans and
the potential for legal responses to concerns. The panel consisted of David
Tennant, Director of CARE Inc;Stephen Long, Economics
Correspondent, ABC News and Current Affairs;Christian Mikula,
Senior Policy Advisor, ASIC;and Rachael Francois, Sydney Bar
