AGM Dinner & Presentation by The Hon. Justice Cavanough

Speaker:
- The Hon. Justice Cavanough

Melbourne's famous Spring Racing Carnival is upon us again.

Justice Cavanough has had a lifelong interest in racing. His father Maurice wrote well known histories of the Melbourne Cup and the Caulfield Cup. While at University, Justice Cavanough wrote a research paper on racing’s disciplinary system.

His Honour is a member of the Supreme Court of Victoria, and is one of the Judgesin- charge of the Judicial Review and Appeals List at that Court. Justice Cavanough will offer his comments on the contribution of racing cases (and some colourful racing identities) to the development of administrative law.
