Reform of the Public Integrity System in South Australia

Aial (SA Chapter) presents a free lunchtime seminar

On 2 May 2012, the South Australian Government introduced the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption Bill 2012 into Parliament. The Bill seeks to establish an ICAC and an Office of Public Integrity, and to make consequential amendments to 23 other State laws. The AIAL (SA Chapter) is pleased to host the Attorney-General to discuss some of the central aspects of this reform package.

The 2012 National Administrative Law Conference "Integrity in Administrative Decision Making"

In 2004 Chief Justice Spigelman delivered the AIAL National Lecture Series about the fourth branch of government, the integrity branch. This Conference will provide an opportunity to consider the concept of the integrity branch, the institutions that constitute it and its health in 2012. In addition to addressing these and related topics the Conference will also review the state of administrative law in the Commonwealth, States and Territories.

Attendance at the Conference may attract 1 CPD point per hour of attendance at Conference sessions under the South Australian continuing professional development scheme for lawyers.
