Your teacher is your most important learning resource and will welcome contact during consultation hours to answer specific questions or to discuss general learning or study-related problems you may have in the course. In addition, you may find the following resources useful:

a) ANU Academic Skills and Learning Centre

Services: This website provides information that will help you work out how to improve your academic skills, including frequently asked questions and resources for students. This website has a range of useful links for students regarding study skills, and support services offered by the university.

(b) ANU Disabilities Services Unit

Services: The unit can provide advice and assistance if a disability (Permanent or Temporary) is affecting a student's ability to study.

(c) ANU International Education Office

Services: The International Student Services section provides welfare and general support for all international students offering advice on a range of issues; as well as advising staff on international student matters. Students may make appointments to see a staff member about anything that is impacting on their life at ANU. The office and website assists international students on a range of issues including how to deal with Culture Shock, Homestay Guidelines, an informal Going Home Program, Non School Aged Childcare, Rental Accommodation and a University Partners English Language Class.

(d) ANU Jabal Indigenous Higher Education Centre

Services: The Centre provides a point of contact for all enquiries about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student matters in the University. Services include:
- a student common room with a kitchen, after hours tea and coffee making facilities.
- study areas and after hours access to a computer room (pc and mac).
- additional resources, such as a seminar room, tutorial room, resource library, books, magazines, videos and compact discs.
- personal support to help with general and academic matters.
- academic advice on course selection and study progress.
- up-to-date advice and information on scholarships and cadetships available to
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

(e) ANU Law Library

Services:
- Helpful staff can provide assistance on the library services, including training on use of legal database and advice regarding finding relevant material in the library collections.

(f) ANU Law Students Society (LSS)

Services: The LSS has several relevant portfolios, including an education portfolio which encompasses representation, services and educational events. Their website notes:

" Our aim is to enrich the educational experience of students by providing access to additional resources and to people who can offer insight and inspiration. Please take advantage of our model exam answers, tutorials, revision lectures and public seminars and, if you have any ideas about how we can improve these services, don’t hesitate to contact us. Also, if you wish to generously assist other students by sharing exam answers or providing revision lectures please get in touch. You might find that you are rewarded with a modest sum of money!
