a) ANU Chaplaincy

Services: regular activities include:
  • Catholic Mass every Tuesday and Thursday 12.15 - 12.45 pm.
  • Student Christian Movement (SCM) every Monday 12.30 -1.30 pm in the foyer.
  • FOCUS every Monday between 12 and 2pm in the chapel.
  • Korean prayer group Mondays 5-6pm
  • Korean Bible Study Monday 7-9pm
  • Meditation Sunday 10am-12noon
  • Weekly prayer (Koreans and others) Friday 9-10 am
  • Buddhist meditation Friday 5-6.30 pm
  • Latter Day Saints Tuesday 1-2.30 pm
  • Other activites by appointment
  • The small room is available for Lunchtime Muslim Prayers. (There is also the ANUMA Prayer room)

(b) ANU Counselling Centre

Services: The Centre:
- offers free and confidential counselling
- offers free workshops and seminars designed to help with study related concerns
      - there are also some powerpoint presentations and audio recordings online
- provides useful practical information on website such as:
      - several Brochures on a range of common issues which students face, including study-related problems (eg 'Overcoming Exam Anxiety', 'Work and Study Too' and 'The 10 Best Ever Anxiety Management Techniques')
- Runs a "Get Up and Go" program - linking you up with another student who has volunteered to be a walking buddy.

(d) Lifeline Canberra

Services: Lifeline's mission is "to enhance the well being of the community through the provision of counselling and counselling related services, the core of which is a 24 hour crisis telephone counselling service".
