a) ANU Counselling Centre

Services: The Centre:
- offers free and confidential counselling
- offers free workshops and seminars designed to help with study related concerns
      - there are also some powerpoint presentations and audio recordings online
- provides useful practical information on website such as:
      - several Brochures on a range of common issues which students face, including study-related problems (eg 'Overcoming Exam Anxiety', 'Work and Study Too' and 'The 10 Best Ever Anxiety Management Techniques')
- Runs a "Get Up and Go" program - linking you up with another student who has volunteered to be a walking buddy.

(b) Beyondblue
  This is a website providing information on anxiety and depression (http://www.beyondblue.org.au)

(c) Migrant Resource Centre (ACT)

Services: The MRC is a community based organisation that assists migrants and refugees in the ACT region to settle successfully in Australia. Services include:
- Community information, pamphlets and newspapers in many languages.
- A large range of research papers and reports on multicultural issues, for example aged care and the Cultural Dictionary.
- Programs and advisory services, for example migration advice (a fortnightly pro bono immigration advice service).
- An emergency relief fund to assist people facing a financial crisis.
- Translating and interpreting services.

(d) The Moodgym Training Program
  This Program is an interactive website designed to "help you identify and overcome problem emotions" and to "show you how to develop good coping skills for the future so that you can enjoy good mental health". (http://moodgym.anu.edu.au)

(e) Reach Out!
  This is a website providing opportunities for young people to get help, explore issues and discover how other young people have got through difficult times. (http://www.reachout.asn.au)

(f) Student clubs and associations
  The ANU has a large number of student clubs and associations. A list can be found at http://clubs.anu.edu.au/
