Legal Practice Master of Laws (Legal Practice) This program is designed for those students who have completed
their Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the ANU or CDU and wish to consolidate
that vocational study with additional postgraduate study to form a masters degree
with a Legal Practice focus. Program offered: Master of Laws (Legal Practice) (7312)

Students must rely on the Approved Means of Assessment, which will be posted to the course homepage on the ANU Law website, prior to the commencement of the course. The ANU College of Law has recently changed its procedures in relation to students who have completed their Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and want to move into the Master of Laws programs. Students must now lodge a new application to apply for admission into the Master of Laws programs. Students wanting to do the Master of Laws (Legal Practice) must lodge a direct application at the ANU Admissions Office. The application form is available here. Students wanting to do any of the other Master of Laws programs - Master of Laws, Master of Laws (International Law), Master of Laws (Environmental Law) or Master of Laws (Government & Commercial Law), must now apply to the Universities Admission Centre. Students will continue to recieve 24 units of credit in the Master of Laws (Legal Practice) and 12 units of credit in the Master of Laws, Master of Laws (International Law), Master of Laws (Environmental Law) or Master of Laws (Government & Commercial Law) programs. In addition, students can now apply to have their GDLP conferred and will still be eligible for the same amount of credit in the Master of Laws program they select as previously.
