Visiting scholar program
One of the National Centre for Indigenous Studies' operational
objectives is to establish a focal point for the coordination
of Indigenous higher education research across the ANU and
the development of collaborative initiatives that bring together
the resources of the ANU.
To meet this objective, NCIS collaborates with
ANU Colleges to invite leading Indigenous Academics to visit
ANU for a month to teach, exchange information and to present
seminars. A broad range of research themes are encouraged. NCIS
also plays host to distinguished international
visiting scholars with assistance from the Vice-Chancellor’s
Visiting International Academics Fund.
