Events


 

NCIS organises and promotes various events both internally within the ANU as well as events which are open to the public.

  • Public seminars to showcase agenda-setting contributions by ANU academics and visiting scholars;
  • Conferences, workshops and other fora in response to topical issues;
  • Exhibitions of Indigenous artwork;
  • Visiting Scholar program bringing outstanding visitors to the ANU to complement the University's research strengths;
  • Internship program extending existing ANU internship programs to encompass student attachment to relevant agencies working in areas of relevance to Indigenous Australians;
  • Postgraduate study identifying new postgraduate courses;
  • Links with the media to improve the coverage of research and teaching issues of relevance to Indigenous Australians.
