Events
NCIS organises and promotes various events
both internally within the ANU as well as events which are open
to the public.
- Public
seminars to showcase agenda-setting
contributions by ANU academics and visiting
scholars;
- Conferences,
workshops and other fora in response to topical issues;
- Exhibitions
of Indigenous artwork;
- Visiting
Scholar program bringing outstanding visitors to the
ANU to complement the University's research strengths;
- Internship program extending existing
ANU internship programs to encompass student attachment
to relevant agencies working in areas of relevance to Indigenous
Australians;
- Postgraduate
study identifying new postgraduate courses;
- Links with the media to improve the coverage
of research and teaching issues of relevance to Indigenous
Australians.
