Course Options for 2012

You can apply online for 2012. The Becoming a Practitioner dates can be found here.

All students are required to complete:
1. Becoming a Practitioner (compulsory pre-requisite)
2. Professional Practice Core (compulsory)
3. At least one elective from Stream A
4. At least one elective from Stream B
5. Legal Practical Experience (either a 20, 40, 60 or 80 day placement).

Please be aware that there are 3 streams of electives (A, B and C). "Stream C" does not denote compulsory courses. Do not enrol in this elective unless you plan on completing or have completed a Stream A and Stream B elective.

More specific information regarding individual courses is available by searching for the course on Study @.

Course loads do vary due to individal circumstances, however as a guide, electives may require 10-15 hours of study per week.
The PPC may require 15-20 hours per week. It is recommended that students with work/family/social commitments undertake the PPC as a stand-alone course.

ANU Law Students studying concurrently, must ensure you have permission to undertake the courses you enrol in. If you do not have permission from the ANU College of Law Sub-Dean you will be withdrawn from the course.
