English Language Requirements
International students who want to study Law must have a demonstrated English
language competency. Studies conducted and examined entirely in English may
fulfil the University's requirements. Satisfactory verification should be provided
with your application form.
Undergraduate Students

** Applicants may use the ANU institutional code 0506 for faster processing
of results. Wherever possible IELTS test centres should be directed to send
results directly to ANU International Office at the time of the test.
Postgraduate Students

PLEASE NOTE: As well as meeting the University's English language conditions,
you will be required to comply with the Australian Government English Proficiency
requirements for the issue of a student visa. these may vary depending on your
country of citizenship. Please note that only IELTS will be accepted from some
countries. You should check with the nearest Australian visa office for details.
