Welcome
to the CEIST web page.
Flexible
learning is a development approach based on careful consideration of the context
of teaching and learning. It focuses on the needs not just of students, but
of teachers, other stakeholders, the education environment and the discipline
itself when making "design" decisions for programs and courses. It
involves using flexibility in pace, place, time, progression, assessement and
technology to tailor a course or program to achieve particular needs.

programs within the ANU College of Law. We are involved in a range of different
projects and policy initiatives, from leadership and direction setting, project
management, educational consultation, research, design and development, to technical
support (in conjunction with the IT&C Unit), academic development and evaluation.
An underpinning
philosophy to our work is to assist academics and support staff to implement
approaches to education based on scholarship, good practice, an evidence-based
approach and in keeping with the College ethos.
