‘Flying under the radar' - The use
of lethal force against hijacked aircraft: recent Australian developments,
article by Professor Simon Bronitt and Capt Dale Stephens
in Oxford University Commonwealth Law Journal (Winter 2007).
Simon Bronitt was invited to spend a week in
21-25 January 2008 with colleagues at the Military Law Centre (MLC) in
Randwick Barracks. During this time, he worked on an article with Capt
Dale Stephens, RAN, Director of the Centre, and develop an internship
program with the MLC and an application to hold an international workshop
on 'Shoot to Kill' Laws and Policies.
