Welcome to the ANU Law School! My name is Shiara and I will be your Careers VP for this year. On the team for this year are Isabelle Reinecke as Director of Careers Services and Isharna Walsh as Careers Services Officer. We intend to provide all of you with information regarding your career choices for the future. With this as our major motive the careers team are eager to present information through a number of means. We hope to provide you with accessible information and look forward to hearing from you regarding careers. Coming up during the next semester are a few things. Firstly we have the Law Fair in March, which will give everyone the opportunity to meet plenty of prospective employers. From March through to June we will be running Graduate and Summer Clerk workshops. Further during the semester we also have plenty of Careers nights planned where you will be able to hear from various members of both the public and private sectors.

Even if you don’t have the chance to make it to some of the events check out the 2008 Careers guide, which is on the LSS website. Work on the 2009 Careers Guide will start in second semester so if you feel like getting involved we would love to hear from you!
